Times of India Prayagraj City page, “From amla to peda, Prayagraj div flavours clock big sales at UPITS,” with a photograph captioned “Fatehpur peda stall at UPITS.”

Kapil Dixit, The Times of India, 28 September 2026. The report covers several districts at the UP International Trade Show. It does not give Sohan Peda a sales figure of its own.

On 28 September 2026, The Times of India published “From amla to peda, Prayagraj div flavours clock big sales at UPITS,” by Kapil Dixit.

The report is about the fourth UP International Trade Show (UPITS) in Greater Noida, and about One District, One Dish foods from the Prayagraj division. It names three Fatehpur entrepreneurs in the district’s Malwa peda business, under the brands Sohan Peda, Mohan Peda, and Ganesh Peda.

The opening line gives more than Rs 3 lakh as a figure for “Fatehpur’s Malwa Peda business,” set beside a figure for Pratapgarh’s amla products. Later, the report quotes Mohit, representing the Sohan Peda brand, as saying that products made from edible gum, dates, and peda had generated sales of over Rs 3 lakh across those three categories. This website does not treat either figure as sales of Sohan Peda alone.

The photograph is captioned “Fatehpur peda stall at UPITS.” The report does not name the people in that photograph.

A later report in the same paper is here: Fatehpur’s Malwan peda and an Italy order.
